Localization Project Manager - Thai Native speaker

We are currently looking for an experienced Thai Localization Project Manager to deliver and manage localization and translation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives from scope to delivery in a closed-loop process, prioritizing in an ever-evolving environment.
Help to research and incorporate Machine Translation (MT) best practices and innovation into our localization and translation strategy.
Work closely with different translation agencies to deliver translation and localization for multiple launch projects
Manage the quality reviewers to deliver ongoing quality auditing and reporting, track of ongoing assigned tasks
Support and maintain Translation Memories (TM) and terminology database that grows in volume
Obtain source files from requesters and/or curriculum development team, analyze files and source content for localizability, and flag any risk
Prepare for handoff package and send to the vendor
Verification of Hand back from the vendor
Query management
Track and monitor project status, and manage queries from vendors
Feed any source related issues back to curriculum development
Escalation management
Tracking and reporting of performance metrics
Consolidation of operations and quality metrics
Assist with operational tasks. E.g. data entries and sorting.

Basic Qualifications:
5 to 10 years of Localization experience
Thai native speaker
BA/BS or 5+ years equivalent work experience in localization, internationalization, project management, or program management
Thorough understanding of translation technologies: translation memories, translation management systems, machine translation, etc.
Familiar with Content Management Systems
Communication skills, experience to work effectively across time zones and cultures
Superior written, verbal, and visual communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of additional languages other than English
Familiarity with Localization Environment and Tools
Experience working with a global team
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage multiple priorities well
Self-driven and able to be both strategic and execution-oriented
